Spring Pink Makeup Tutorial

Tuesday, May 14, 2013

I've been making an active effort to do more videos, so here is another one! This makeup tutorial is completely inspired by Spring... and of course, the colour pink. I wanted to create something really girly, and give it somewhat of an ombré effect.

Click to watch the video tutorial below!

The products mentioned in the video were:
  • c/o Nivea Original Lip Butter
  • Urban Decay Oz Glinda Palette, shade "Magic"
  • c/o Signma Makeup Brushes
  • Sonia Kashuk Makeup Brushes
  • Coastal Scents 252 Ultimate Eye Shadow Palette
  • Urban Decay Naked Palette, shade "Virgin"
  • Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner in "Black"
  • c/o Revlon Lash Potion Volume & Length Mascara in "003 Blackened Brown"
  • MAC Blush in "Pinch o' Peach" and "Peaches"
  • Smashbox Blush in "Flush"
  • MAC Lipsticks in "Viva Glam Gaga", "Girl About Town" and "Amorous"

Sick Day

Wednesday, December 5, 2012

I've been sick with a tooth and throat infection since the weekend (gross I know) but I couldn't let that keep me from doing a post this week! Instead of doing my usual OOTD I thought I'd get a little more creative and do a makeup look instead. I actually love makeup and have quite an obsession with collecting it, but believe me, everything gets used!

For the look above I primarily used Coastal Scents 252 Ultimate Eye Shadow Palette (purples, greys, black) and highlighted my brow-bone with "Virgin" from the Urban Decay Naked Palette. The Peacock Paper Lashes were given to me by MICHA Lash; aren't they stunning?! I finished the look with black liquid liner and pencil liner.

This is how I pass the time if I'm ever bored or sick at home and don't want to linger in bed. What makes you feel better when you're ill? I'd love to know!
