Last weekend I went to CF Toronto Eaton Centre to check out an activation held by Shoppers Drug Mart to support its Top Picks in the beauty category. You might’ve seen some of the buzz around it already but I shared photos on social media here, here and here.

Out of the five senses we all have, smell is definitely my strongest one. I can smell something from a distance and take a pretty good hint at what it could be. Some say it's a gift, but of course... that depends on what the smell is! I even have names for certain scents such as the "outside smell" or "rain smell". I know, I'm a weirdo.

Since I'm so in touch with that sensory of mine, fragrance is a very important, personal thing to me. I wear a different perfume almost daily and it is all dependent on what I'm doing that day, where I'm going and how the weather is outside.

It’s hard to believe that summer is coming to an end soon. My husband and I are trying to make the most of our last few weeks before chilly nights start to get in the way!

We made a pact to explore the city as much as we could, so we got new bikes at the beginning of the season and have put them to very good use. I’m happy to report that we’ve done everything you plan to do during the summer months including BBQ dinners, weekend getaway to the cottage with friends, a lot of ice cream dates and a fun little picnic with my adorable niece.
